What is a computer:-

Histroy Of Computer 

Some mathematician told that the first computer was Abacus. Nearly 5,000 years ago, the "abacus" was developed in china in 3000 B.C. The world Abacus means calculating board. Abacus has been used since ancient by a number of civilizations for basic arithmatical calculations. The abacus called a counting frame, which is a calculating tool for performing arithmetic operations.

After long years the first step towards the creation of computers was made by an English mathematics professor, Charles Babbage. Early on, he realized that all mathematical calculations can be broken up into simple operations which are then constantly repeared, and that theseoperations

could be carried out by an automatic machine. In the 1820s Charles Babbages started working on a Difference Engine, but after ten years he abanodoned it for the analytical Engine - the real predecessor of the computer. Babbage outline the basic elements of mordern general purpose computer which was based on the method of finite differences.

After long years in 1940 discovered he first generations of computer. this generation computer are charecterized by the use of vacuum tube. A vacum tube was a fragile glass device, which used filaments as a source of electronices.

In 1956 the second generations computer was developed. Second generations computer make with solid-state components (transistors and diodes ) and magnetic core storage formed. Transistor is a device composed of semiconductor material that amplifies a signal or opens or closes a circuit.

Third Generation Of Computers:-

The third generation computers were introduced in 1964. Transistor were miniatuized and placed on silicon chips, called semiconductors, which drasically increased the speed and efficiency of computers.The used Integrated Circuits (ICs) in third generations of computer.
